ENJOYING SEDONA
Things to do in and around Sedona during your stay - it's a magical place with so many incredible experiences.
Fall Foliage and Best Hikes
Oak Creek Canyon is the premier destination for golden cottonwoods, fiery maples, and tranquil water - start by taking the scenic drive on Highway 89A.
West Fork Trail is a popular hike in the region, this 6.4-mile path takes you through canyon canopy bursting with autumn leaves.
Cathedral Rock and Bell Rock are some of the more iconic rock formations in Sedona, and cooler temperatures make climbing these even better. For the early risers, a trip to Devil's Bridge will provide a breathtaking vista if you arrive to the top in time for sunrise.
Exploration
Pink Jeep Tours and Helicopter tours offer a great way to see Sedona from another viewpoint - with it being a busy visitor weekend, make sure to book your reservation in advance.
The Verde Valley Wine Trail offers the opportunity to experience harvest season in the Fall and to spend the day exploring local boutique wineries.
The famed Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village is a beautiful place to enjoy fall colors while wandering through galleries teeming with local artists, shops, and charming cafes.
For the more 'spirited' experience, consider a day trip to Jerome, a long-storied haunted mining town. October provides the perfect setting to go on a walking ghost tour and stop at Haunted Hamburger, Asylum Restaurant, Vaqueros, or The Clickscale for lunch. Add wine tasting to the day by visiting Maynard Keenan's Merkin Vineyards wine tasting room.
